Why We Started Doll Code

Traditional sizing was never cut for petite baddies.

Fashion is built around a 5'10" fit model — every block, every proportion, drafted for a frame most women don't have. And when brands do add a "petite" range, it's usually an afterthought: the same pattern shrunk down, not a proportion actually redrawn for a shorter frame.

✕Straps and necklines gape — drafted for taller torsos, so halters and V-necks never sit where they're meant to.
✕Hems drag before you've worn it once — "petite" online usually just means shortened, not re-graded from scratch.
✕Waist and rise sit in the wrong place — the same pattern scaled down, not re-proportioned for a shorter frame.
✕Tailoring becomes a tax — a cost you pay before anything even leaves the house.

So we're building a brand from scratch for 4'10"–5'2" — not resized. Redesigned.
